Building hope is an outreach program designed to assist families and individuals in the community of Beverly in need.  That assistance may be in the form of (but not limited to) food bank, laundry facility, lunch program, clothing bank, coaching for job interview skills and even family budgeting courses.

By forming relationships with the people in this community, we are better able to understand what is needed to enable them to develop the necessary skills to ensure that their basic need will be met…now, and in the future.

Our philosophy is simple...

  • Basic needs are non-negotiable.

  • Building Hope will find effective & practical answers, to the needs of the community.

  • Building Hope will take direction from a Spiritual Advisory Board for individualised solutions.

  • Building Hope will respond with practical, solution-focused assistance.

Building Hope will work directly with community members to establish an ongoing relationship.

Within that relationship, we may discover there is a need that can be met by the programs.

We will work with individuals and families to find solutions to some of these needs and will supply interim assistance on an individual, personalised basis.

This will be a “team” approach as we work with people and walk with them through the problems that are present.

We will listen and respond with a co-operative, solution focused approach to problem solving. We will establish lasting relationships with the residents of Beverly.

Our core programs will include, lunch program, food bank service, laundry facility, clothing bank, courses and workshops.

We will establish a safe and secure environment for all the community members.
